He seems to play on the wide left or wide right rather than in the middle and seems like he is pretty physical, as I said above I suspect they are looking at him playing LWB and challenging Solly for the place.

I think the question is, is he better than Solly and or Dan Burn

If he's better than Solly ............................. that would be really something. Obviously, if he's that good, he's far too good to stay at Barnsley.

They are ****ing dreaming if they think they're in the same league as us in any sense.

Looks like our type of player and signing. LWB which is a position we need to get back up for, young player at 20 showing promise and therefore ability to get better. Won’t be pissed off if playing second fiddle to Solly next season. £8m will be within our budget and is possibly the sell on clause. The only potential issue is if they get into the playoffs and then get promoted. Otherwise I can see it happening although Leeds would be an alternative for him if they are interested.
(On the Leeds front I always think that Bielsa could decide to retire at the end of any season. He’s on a season long contract. I can see quite a challenge for them in replacing him if he did decide to not renew his contract. His family is still in Argentina and maybe he has achieved his goal of establishing Leeds back in the top flight, with the knowledge that the second season is always a difficult one).

I'm guessing this will probably be the first of a few Barnsley players we're linked with and rightly so. They're a brilliant team and have some players who would very much be the type we'd be looking at.

Yes but hopefully not like the last couple of players we singed from Barnsley, Messrs Chris O'Grady and Paddy McCourt.
