Go for the wildfire s and not a wildfire. I had a wildfire and it was so slow like 3 seconds behind you actually touching the screen. The Wildfire s is so much better
I've got Wildfire s good phone but a bit to small for me and it does have virtual memory problems
Does anyone on here own a Galaxy Ace or HTC Wildfire? What do you think of them generally?
If given the chance, would you trade it in for something better?
Cheers,
Thanks for the feedback guys.

Well I've come across something that I thought I might put the way of some fellow NSCers. Any of you lot free Wednesday morning next week for a market research session*? I'd need to check a few aspects first, the age range I need is 18-35 - but there's the chance you could all walk away with a brand new phone at the end of the morning. If you're interested, or you know someone with a Galaxy Ace/HTC Wildfire S let me know!
*not really market research but a laugh with free food. Should take a couple of hours.
Rubbish. I had a Wildfire for 2 years, it was excellent and very responsive. The Wildfire S will obviously be better with a slightly quicker processor, but my Wildfire ran perfectly well with no lag on touching the screen, and was 100% reliable.
I've just recently upgraded to a HTC One S, which is, I have to say, a LOVELY bit of kit. I likes me HTC's, they're very well made.
Rubbish. I had the wildfire for over 2 years and although the screen didn't lag everything else did! Battery was crap as well. Samsung S2 now and the difference is like night and day.
I've had a Wildfire since they came out - I really like the simplicity of it and the Android apps. My only gripe is they aren't tough enough. I'm on my third replacement handset - once was a mystery, just froze. Second screen cracked and the very top of the touchscreen didn't respond to touch, so I had to tilt it to text etc - so in it went. Third I was getting out of the car and dropped the phone from my pocket a distance no more than two feet onto fairly fresh tarmac - fell right on the 'on' button and jammed it, phone was a right off again.
I like HTC, but might go over to the dark side next upgrade and get an iPhone, can't be arsed with using shitty Nokia courtesy phones while my real phone is in the sick bay - that's it, HTC are the Darren Anderton of mobile phones.
