I was in the pub.

Pay £10 to go to watch the Albion at one of the top 6 clubs in the country. Pay £26 to sit on some scaffolding.

Its football, its what happens, get over it.

I don't have a problem with it and i don't blame people for doing it, Makes me laugh though when people start going on about attendances at the withdean yet 6 thousand travel 150 miles to watch them.

I was spending more time with my wife and family.

My reserve clothes have just dried out from the Exeter away game.

Meopham, Kent.
I just don't understand the problem people have with understanding this.

Quality game, at a top notch ground like Villa Park, for a tenner, or 3rd Division gash in a miserable excuse for a ground at £24. Why is it so difficult to understand why the Villa game is more attractive and therefore draws more interest?

I would think that 70-80% of us that were at Villa were at Millwall yesterday.

We had 6000 home fans there yesterday compared to 6400 at Villa Park. Not a MASSIVE difference anyway.

Lots of us go to home games too :clap2:

Well considering about 4000 of the Villa tickets went to season ticket holders they were probably at the game.

I doubt very much whether all the actual season ticket holders went themselves. A lot never, ever go away, irrespective of the game and allow family, friends and acquaintances to use their tickets.
This always happens when BHA get a big game and I would make a rough guesstimate that there were no more than 2,500 season ticket holders at Villa Park.
