Can I clarify something...the council only allowed the flood lights until 8pm not 9pm as stated in the article. And the residents hadn't complained to the school at all about the language or the noise from the balls hitting the side boards; maybe if they had something could be done about it!

Rest assured that it is not just the residents of Sussex who act like this - we had the same problem putting up floodlights on our Tennis Courts which are a along way from anyones house.

Ooooh hark at Mr Darcy over here. "We'd love some lights for our tennis courts don't you know old boy" :lolol:

Well I for one don't think it funny that decent residents should be kept awake because hooligans want to play sport in their leisure time. All the residents want is a quiet life! How totally unreasonable to have sporting facilities that require electric lights?
