Has anyone ever tried mate (South American tea)? What was it like? ️
Yes. I drank a lot in Chile. Disgusting at first but then got into it (caffeine I guess). Really enjoyed it in the end. Imagine loads of dried tea and herbs, you keep infusing it with hot water (and sugar in my case) and sipping it through a straw thing.Has anyone ever tried mate (South American tea)? Only tried the Cuban version as it was the Red Bull-replacement in the Commie pub I used to go to.Has anyone ever tried mate (South American tea)? What was it like? ️
Yes. Found it quite bitter at first, after a few times decided it was nicer ice cold than hot. Prefer a Tintico though (from Brazil) - basically a supercharged and tiny espresso chugged after a big lunch to keep you awake in the afternoonHas anyone ever tried mate (South American tea)? If we get into Europe I would bet on him staying, if not, who knows.Ali Mac certainly gets the British sense of humour and seems to love it with us, do you think he might buck the trend and stay?
