Buying tickets for Villa

I am sorry, but this is one of the most stupid processes I have ever come across for buying tickets, the system is a joke. Insider is doing his best to help me out and I appreciate the work of the staff who have relitively little to do with it but the whole thing simply doesn't work.

I have tried to add REGISTERED members to my "family and friends" list and the don't appear on the list. It then tells me to click on the "eligibility" link and that just tells me I have to be a season ticket holder to purchase these tickets, which I am, but I still have no f***ing tickets.

The whole thing is a stupid and humongous cock up. Nobody's password works and you have to wait for that, it is driving me insane. All the while the time to buy shortens and I just want to get the tickets so I can make travel arrangements.

Please can they make it possible to BUY x amount of tickets from the shop providing you have details of the membership. If they are worried about congestion how about booking time in to come and purchase a ticket?

Insider is kindly spending his evening dealing with people's problems, so what do you do? Read his comments, then start a new thread ranting and raving.

Knob.

Are you saying I am disrespecting his efforts for starting a thread about the online system despite him having nothing to do with it and despite the fact I have thanked him for helping me above?

People passionately hate you for sticking your ore in constantly trying to start an argument at every given opportunity. I have thanked Paul for his work, he doesn't have to take any notice of this thread, I have been trying for 3 days to book tickets and the system is an absolute joke.

I decided long ago, never to walk in anyones shadow
If I fail, if I succeed, at least I live as I believe
No matter what they take from me, they can't take away my dignity...

I also decided this week to pop into the club shop and drop my Gold app off in person, tomorrow.

Need to fill a real stadium soon

IT A DISGRACE! I THINK THIS IS HOW THE CLUB OPERATE,NEED TO BE MORE BUISNESS LIKE AND MORE AWARE OF NEEDS OF THE FANS,FULLY BEHIND THE REGIME AT THE CLUB BUT THEY LACK ALOT KNOW HOW,IF THEY GOT THERE ACT TOGETHER THEY WOULD HAVE CRANKED ANOTHER 2,000 TICKETS ON A SALE OR RETURN BASIS FROM VILLA AND SOLD ON FIRST COME BASIS,ITS SAD THAT THE FANS THAT ARE PUT OFF ARE GOING TO BE THE NEW OR WAYWARD FANS WHO WE NEED TO TEMPT BACK TO THE FOLD! IN PAST DEALINGS WITH THE CLUB I HAVE FOUND THEM VERY NEGATIVE EVEN WHEN TRYING TO BRING YOUTH TEAMS TO ALBION GAMES AND PUTTING OVER 40 EXTRA INTO THE GROUND,TICKET OFFICE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE CREATIVE WITH REQUEST,WE HAVE THE FAN BASE, SOON WE WILL HAVE THE GROUND,NOW WE NEED THE ADMIN SIDE TO GROW UP.:dunce:

Honestly I am tearing my hair out here. I feel like putting my fist through the bloody screen every time it tells me my session has expired and I have to start all over again.

It can be so frustrating I agree.

Thankfully, once I finally got through to the ticket office......(after waiting 40 minutes), the guy there was super helpful and managed to organise the "friends and Family" bit for me in seconds.

However, those saying the club are doing well, need to have a good look at the average age of the season ticket holders in the south stand. Not all of us were brought up with computers. They needed far more help in the ticket office to field all the queries.......not Insider on NSC.

Poor effort by Ken Brown in overseeing all this. As usual he is totally out of touch with so many BHA supporters.

They advised me not to do that as we are applying for a group of mixed memberships. If this internet lark doesn't start working then I may just ignore their advice.

I agree. What is equally frustrating is people on here telling you that you are a dick because you can't operate the system. If they were in our shoes they would be moaning as well.

I am, yeah. You're being a knob.

The system OBVIOUSLY has problems, the club are aware of this, and are in the middle of trying to rectify the issues.

So what the hell is the purpose of this thread? He's trying to help you out and you've just started a pointless thread for the sake of having a rant. It's not going to achieve anything at all.

If the club weren't on the case, then by all means have a go. Christ, I've done it myself enough times! But when the club are clearly trying to sort the problems, and have even tried helping you personally out of hours this evening, so it's out of order to start throwing your toys out of the pram and justifying it by a quick "thank you".

Get a grip.

maybe of help ( im delving into my first attempt tomorrow )

Online Tickets: Friends & Family Posted on: Wed 30 Sep 2009The new ticket system requires that all tickets are allocated to an individual named account holder. In the future this will lead to a loyalty and reward scheme reflecting purchase history and attendance, and may impact on future ticket allocations. If you wish to purchase tickets for a group, including yourself, friends and family, your friends and family will need to have:1. Registered or activatedtheir own account.2. Enabled you to purchase tickets on their behalf. To do this your friends and family should complete the following instructions.ENABLING PEOPLE TO BUY ON YOUR BEHALF1. Login to your account and select the 'Friends & Family' option from the navigation bar on the left.2. Insert the Fan Number, Surname and Postcode of the person who is purchasing the tickets.3. Click 'Add me to their Friends and Family' and then they will be able to purchase tickets on your behalf.QUICK TIP! Once you're logged in, you can check/update your personal details or cha

i dont understand the rush. Villa holds 40,000, they wont sell out for us, and they will have a bloke with a flat cap sitting on a turnstile ready to take your money. Yep buy in advance sure, but no need to stress.

I believe you called me a hypocrite once. Your second paragraph . You really have done yourself no favors.
