Buying Serie A Tickets Online from UK - Little Help?

Anybody bought any Serie A tickets online recently? Have tried looking up a couple of sites but they seem dodgily expensive and none-too-official. Want to go and see Bologna v AC Milan on 11th December but they're quoting 100 euros a ticket. Surely includes a booking fee which makes our £2 booking fee look like a drop in the Med? Or would I be better sending my impoverished mate at Bologna Uni the money and getting her to book the tickets in Bologna? Cheers.

Simply don't book online in advance.

Went to Milan a year ago for a stag do, we needed 13 tickets but due to anti hooliganism ruling you cannot purchase more than six tickets in any one block. Also to counter the perceived threat from foreigners they will try and put you in a separate section and thats why you are charged exhorbitant prices.

In the end we rocked up to the San Siro on the day and bought two lots of six and a single ticket in the home end - Curva Nord with all the ultras for €13 each and had a much better experience with the locals!

Can you not buy direct from the clubs in Italy, then?

I've only ever pre-booked football tickets abroad for games in Germany, and had no problems getting them posted to the UK. I don't think I was even charged extra for the postage!

We tried to get into AC Milan v Napoli at the San Siro a year or so ago, but they weren't selling tickets to anyone who couldn't prove they lived in or around Milan. Apparently, its a well-known trouble match, and there were coaches and coaches of riot police with shields and batons etc, so we didnt argue!
Just as well to check before you travel. We had to watch from a bar in the city centre in the end on TV.
Quite what hooligan threat they thought me and the wife posed, I don't know!

I purchased mine from the clubs website directly for Inter Milan a few years back. Cheap as chips and no probs, although I would not have a problem with rocking up on the day, as suggested above.
