For my sins, I found myself celebrating the hatrick of Butterfield. The guy had scored something like 6 in his whole career and then scored the perfect hatrick. I have repented since. Sorry.

They did wipe out their debts in paying them in full. They are spending money they do have at the moment, as they have a very very rich man in charge. I believe we are contributiong to their promotion cause in the form of Liebherr Construction materials.

Galling, but we are them on a small scale.

I really don't get this dislike of Southampton. Actually, I say dislike, what it really is is JEALOUSY. We have no history with them, they hate Portsmouth, we hate Palace, both teams should be irrelevant to one another. Just because they have a big stadium and loads of money they're suddenly "scum" and "rivals". It's a joke. They're no more of a rival than Bournemouth, Gillingham, Reading and Crawley.

I understand thats the point of view of most Brighton fans but having had the misfortune of growing up surrounded by Stains fans I can confirm that they are indeed scum. Personally I will always hate them more than Palace
