Tried Northampton once ended up in a chase through the streets with cricket bat and golf club wielding hoodlums

If my memory is correct about 15 Bosun guys went up on the Haywards Heath coach to a Bury game.

What are Bosun guys? Would that be those who frequented that friendly establishment in West Street?

A faction that frequented the pub were known as the bosun mid to late 70's. For big games the lamb and flag and vanguard pubs would play their part.
