I know we've been round this but I still struggle with the concept of 'nobody is better than anybody'.
Granted 'the player I want' is a bazillion times better than anybody.
But you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometime you find you get what you need.

Shirley for a manager that has seen and done everything, every footballer has some redeeming feature CH can work with.
I appreciate he's having to suck it up over Manu, and perhaps couldn't do that twice over.
But all the time Baldock and Kaz are so flaky the squad is only 2, possibly even only 1 injury away from serious problems.

But that's the same as saying we never deserve to win any game we haven't won, as we haven't scored more than the opponents. Totally ignoring how well each side has played and how many shots they've had. Sure we weren't clinical, but it sounds like we were the better side, and saying 'we don't deserve anything from this' is harsh IMO.

We all know we should have brought a top striker in, the club tried to, they just couldn't get what they wanted.

Wasn't there but watching the highlights it's noticeable that none of the Burton players protested about the pen. Usually a good indicator.

I've heard our targets were a little faster and more high end than Emnes and we had the goalposts shifted on us. But even if I have heard completely wrongly Emnes has scored exactly half what our right winger has so far this season.
