Amusing to see the banishment of the moist mattress, for a few days at least. :lolol:

And I love it when the world's greatest football genius opens his sphyncter and speaks to us. I have not missed him either. FFS.

Unlike you I don’t put people on ignore but there are a handful of posters on here who I now flatly refuse to engage with. They may be morons or trolls, who knows, but I have better ways of wasting my time and upping my post count

I'm not sure if it was mentioned on here in play, but shortly after Bissouma was fouled by Gudmundsson there was a clearly audible racist shout towards him that was picked up by one of the pitchside microphones.

Thankfully he didn't appear to hear it.

He is indeed but it’s still not a £50m hole. A crass statement.

I wasn’t commenting on the £50m hole bit. I would subscribe to the view that we are laughing all the way to the bank and am happy to go along with Mr P’s view that we don’t need to replace him.

After all I didn’t think we’d ever see Duffy in a Potter team, and today by some people’s reckoning he was MOTM.

I had an absolute shocker of a day, set off leaving myself a 3 hour window to allow for traffic, got to Hurstpierpoint and realised my ticket was on the console table in my hall. ****.
Quick turnaround but that set me back by an hour, I then ran into traffic jam after accident after closure, my arrival time was going up and up and up. With an hour to go until kick off I was still 120 miles away. I nearly threw the towel in.
I arrived in Burnley at 15:45 and sprinted to the ground only to find they’d closed the turnstiles and weren’t allowing anyone else in. ****. Legged it to the ticket office and pleaded with them, they escorted me around the ground and finally let me in through a side door. Managed to watch all of the second half.
All that effort for 45 mins of football, and if you think I’d ever do it again you’d be absolutely right.
UTA.

Sounds like you timed it perfectly

Funny game. The first half the worst start to a season i can remember.

The last 25 absolutely brilliant down that right.

Would much rather follow a team that played crap for the most part and actually won a game of football than one getting accolades for playing well and not winning.

Great start.

Can anyone actually confirm what the formation was first half? I felt like I was tripping out. I think i found the return to grounds all a bit intoxicating. Looked to me like Gross was playing left back and we were playing 4-1-4-1 with Alzate playing DM and March as a right winger....

Indeed it was. And Webster getting reamed at right back. Really was abject stuff and bizarre.

Can't believe we won after that first half, could be a crucial 3 points come the end of the season.

Most bizarre Potter formation EVER I'd say.
Boy did good in the 2nd though (but you do wonder what goes through managers heads sometimes).
