Yup, either way we're close. Gross and Tross will be fluid, I think. We might even see Mwepu further forward, or at least running beyond; alternatively, he might play wide right, although I think that's less likely. I doubt we'll stick with the same formation throughout the game.

Loan yes - but not to get rid of him. Potentially too good a player for that. Needs to realise he's at a crossroads - Championship may be too high a level; he needs to score lots of goals - just that. The level is almost immaterial. A year at, for example, Carlisle, Port Vale, Oldham, wherever - with the message drummed into him, 'this is where you'll be in 2 or 3 years if you don't pull your finger out.'
