Agreed, perhaps he's still not 100% fit. I'd imagine 90 minutes on a testing pitch at Vale means he's not worth risking tonight. Shame as he provides much more threat from set pieces compared to Dave.

He was completely knackered at Derby , a full game at Port Vale means he is unlikely to last the whole game tonight and he may figure more on Sunday at Vicarage Road.

That has been my hope for a god few games now. He had a good game linking up with Conway in his last game, not that much since. But he does work with a good understanding with Bruno and maybe it is the double act that gets the selection?
