How many goals have Burnley scored from the penalty spot this year?

They have missed at least one?

When I first started watching the Albion in ther mid-sixties the terrace supporters will still talking about a 3-3 draw against Burnley in the FA Cup.

31/1/61 Tue. FAC R4 Rep (a) L 0-2 0-1 - 22,800
28/1/61 Sat. FAC R4 (h) D 3-3 1-1 J.Bertolini, R.McNicol, D.Windross 28,672

Burnley were a top side then, on par with Liverpool today.

In 1971 or so we signed Willie Willie Irvine from Burnley. He may appear in the SCR commentary box as a guest today!

Not including penalty shoot-outs, we have had 7 penalties this season. Scored 5, missed 2. Although we've only had 1 since Christmas and we missed that. So we must be due another, :lolol:

Martin Hinshelwood had the media chuckling after a magnificent start for him and his team when he declared: "Sod it, I'm going to resign now!"

Not as much continuity as you'd think, only 2 of those players will probably start, maybe 3.

Does this mean five at the back or 4-4-2 with Reid playing right midfield. Who is on the bench?

Mayo, Nicolas, Shabaam, ? , ?

Also. on the bench are:

K Mayo, J Dolan, A Nicolas, R Shaaban, J Robinson

Not a bad line up really. Virgo back in defence to keep things watertight, McPhee and McCammon work their defence to exhaustion and then Jake comes on for the last 30 mins or so like last week.

Come on Albion!!!

:clap2: :clap2:
