Burnley have been bought out by American investment firm ALK Capital, with their managing director, Alan Pace, becoming chairman.

There seems to be a suggestion of money for players in the upcoming window - Sean Dyche must think it's Christmas...

Incredible really. I wonder who these guys are because this is an odd one.
Dyche with money is potentially interesting....

PS
How would you feel if Bloom ever sold us to someone like this?

He'll be worth the money on this performance.
I'd like to see more of this from GP

Hopefully they'll be looking to offload Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood...

Strange thing is Dyche may struggle with a massive budget to spend, too many choices

I did think it might be helpful if they go all in on some big money strikers and let those two go. Not sure Barnes would be happy to come back after his abuse here though.
I’m convinced the Barnes abuse must of only come from one section of the Amex, I certainly didn’t hear anything near what I’ve read on here.

Maybe. Apparently it took this Alan Pace guy about three games before he sacked the manager - replacing him with one of the teams starting strikers - and the director of football ("general manager") when he became over Real Salt Lake.

I think Dyche is 50% happy and 50% worried.

Is there an American equivalent to Burnley

Plenty, all Trump-voting decaying rustbelt towns.

I was interested to hear that the new owners plan to live locally. Even Venky's didn't make that mistake when they bought Blackburn, although they made every other one in the book ...

Barnes was another player given away for next to nothing.

Murray to them up the road for free and Barnes to Burnley for ? ( was it really £250k ? ) I do worry sometimes.

Wonder how much money there will really be to invest in players. How rich are these people?
