@OfficialBHAFC Great day at the Amex even if the result went against us today. Super stadium - look forward to seeing it again next year.

They didn't look like promotion material.

I feel sorry for their fans. They travel 400 or so miles down here, they play poorly and lose...and to top it off, they have to go back to f*cking Burnley.

Should have given them a nourishing meal for the trip back.

The feeling is mutual then! Burnley is probably the biggest dump I've ever visited & I've been to some shitholes :)

Chatting to a few in the queue for a train after the game and they were only complimentary about the Amex. We're very impressed, and also absolutely astounded that our crowd was as much as 26,000 for a championship game, saying they could only dream of figures anywhere near that.

That's about a third of their population, so I'm not surprised it's a dream

Given each of them a goodie bag with a balloon and paper hat emblazoned with "commiserations", and a packed dinner.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to check other scores :)
Scores are on the board at half time...and you can get them on an Iphone...I just thought that we go to a match to watch our team play football...other scores are for looking at once the match has finished...

Are people not going a bit OTT on here about this? 1 person commented that it's 'soulless', 1 said the slope's a bit weird, but looks better with the extra seats in. So 2 people might not be the biggest fans of a ground they might go to once a year and that's a good enough reason to moan? There are more criticisms of Turf Moor on this thread than of the Amex on those 2 links.

People really need to get over themselves - not everyone will like the Amex. Not every Brighton fan likes everything about it, so why expect away fans to do so?

I've only been to Turf moor 3 or 4 times but have always enjoyed it. Ok it's only 30-35mi s over the tops from where I live but I liked watching a bit of cricket with a cheap pint of two before the match and then into a rickety old stand with hideously uncomfortable seats and 2 (maybe more) supports that block some of the pitch! But I've always found the locals friendly. Burnley centre is a dump but there are some lovely little villages that I pass through on my way back home so it's not all bad!

Ah yeah post 17, didn't we have a whole thread about her a few years ago? Sure someone found out she was a porn star.

Why do people want an internet connection? Do people go to watch the football or play on their phones, laptops or tablets?

The guy making the comment about internet connection runs that website.

It was a comment, not complant. I would assume he normally provides some sort of service for the game.
