In all fairness to the OP there is something not right at the club at the moment.

It's called 'not winning'. If BHA were 3-0 on the new season even the pies would be acceptable.

Oscar says what player/position he wants, Burke and his scouts identify targets, Oscar says yes or no and then Burke does the deal. Tony Bloom said as much at the forum. What has Paul Barber got to do with transfers?

Barber says how much can be spent.

Since Oscar has been here, when do you think he has been able to watch the three signings that Burke identified then give his approval before signing them?

Pork pie land.
IMO Gus went because he stood up to these two idiots they need to be stopped. Is it not better for managers to sign players
or is Burke (Who is he?) got more knowledge than OG. Smoke signals coming over the hills say they are not liked at all.
I reckon another quid on the pies when Gus wins his case and exposes these morons. Just my opinion and if you don't like it
HGAF........................Time will tell. Oh! liking the new pie and soft drink deal instead of the pie and pint....WTF??

Sorry, can you try English next time?

Pork pie land.
If Barber = Bloom why do we need Barber?

Because Bloom is a busy man and not there full time. Someone needs to get he Commercial Side of our Club under control, and from the little I have seen he is doing a good job. We cannot lose £8 million a year and expect Tony Bloom to do nothing and pick up the tab.

Would hazard a guess that Tony Bloom does that, he sets the budget

Video's, reading reports, relying on scouts? Gus didn't go and watch every player he relied on videos and his scouts

Both must go both on high wages get rid. The manager should bring in players not someone who knows sweat FA about football. Also there was never 26,000 at the game today.

Just far enough away from LDC
That was the number of tickets sold, not bums on seats.

At a business lunch in June, Paul barber said his number one challenge this season was ensuring that season ticketholders actually turn up to matches this season.

Gus flew out to Spain to watch Ulloa several times.
CMS also recalled how he went to Leicester but ended up talking to a suit, whereas when he came to the Amex, Gus met him personally and showed him around the stadium. That's why he chose Brighton when Leicester were offering him higher wages.
