Should have been 6 or 7. Good goalkeeping and wayward finishing combined to keep the score down together with an atrocious ref/lino combo who missed 2 pens in the first half (1 was so obvious). And then contrived to give Carshalton a corner - which wasn't - from which they scored near the end! Never mind, the 3 points were all that mattered. Another decent midweek crowd if 414.

Off to Carshalton on Saturday to hopefully see us get the point we need to be mathematically certain. Followed by the mother of all sessions back in the clubhouse afterwards!

The wind didn't help tonight but another great team display(60th game) Point on saturday takes the title! Should be a bumper crowd at home to Worthing on monday!

Did you leave on 85 minutes?

Stayed the 90+ and home in hove 17 minutes later! Last time a went to the amex had to wait 75 minutes for a 25 to the uni! The joy of non league is you feel like a human again not cattle.Looks like i'll carry on with the non league next season,plus you get drums for 90 minutes at the green elephant on night games!
Might nip off early on monday could be a bumper crowd!

Funny that, i've never felt ''like cattle''...have no problem with my half hour walk to the ground etc....i would not knock non league though the drums would be a pain

If i could walk to the stadium it would make a difference tbh,as for the drums i think its ATC drum practice behind the stadium

It's a game you hand out the plaudits when you lose to a better team and your boys were the better team that day in the trophy without a doubt .I hope you all have a great day out later today ,up the hillians.
