The teams... pretty much u18s for the ALBION XI I think.
Please tell me that Andy Herring in the Burgess Hill team has red hair.

11 First Chance of the game falls to the Albion but a great goal line clearance denies them the opener.

The "Ellis Brown" listed under Albion's squad is a completely new name for me?
George Brown was in junior's year at school - easily the most talented player in the area at U12-14 or thereabouts (also a Millwall fan, last seen celebrating in the corner by the away end just before Solly fluked the equaliser [emoji23][emoji23])A couple of ex-Albion lads in the Hill ranks:-
George Brown spent eight years at the club and was the same year as George Cox, James Tilley and Jordan Maguire-Drew. He wasn't offered a scholarship and then spent a number of years at Woking.
Reggie Ward also spent a number of years at the club, up to U-15 level, and has also been at Worthing. A couple of months ago he was selected for the English Colleges FA squad.
Edit....wasn't him [emoji23]...and with that, he misses from under the bar, Hill's best (only) clear chance so far
[emoji23] [emoji23] He was in my daughter's year....Number 9 for Burgess Hill. Max Miller.
