Just to let everyone know, myself and Paul H are looking at reprinting Build a Bonfire sometime next year in paperback either with Mainstream or a new publisher. We are planning on re interviewing most of the oringinal people for an extra chapter/s on their thoughts on the last 8 years since the book was first published plus some notable by their absence or unaccesible at the time (Dick Knight for one). We shall be meeting with Roz in the new year re new photos. Thanks to everyone for their continued interest in the book and hopefully the reprint will time with Falmer finally getting the all clear.
Steve

Nice one Steve  Drop me a line if you need any extra anecdotes ;)

Great news....it would be interesting to interview Bellotti, and get his take on the past 10 years. I'm serious, by the way.

And there MUST be room for another book which follows the whole Falmer Campaign saga....along the lines of "More than 90 Minutes".

I could play Dick Knight, there is a passing resemblance.

Just to point out that this was a bounced thread from 20 months ago.

Steve is in Manchester working his nads off, and probably hasn't been on NSC for a bit. He has always said - and still says - that it's vital that Build A Bonfire gets an update, but by the same toekn, ideally wants to re-publish when it looks like everything is going to go ahead.

There is also a lot of text and quotes that didn't or couldn't get published first time round - especially, apparently a few tasty quotes from Liam Brady about David Bellotti. I wait with genuinely baited breath.

Evening Steve.
A mighty fine idea that is too!
I'm covering the whole caboodle with an Albion chapter in my general memoirs, starting in 1992 with the formation of BISA during the Lloyd debacle, finishing at the first game at Falmer - it'll be nearly twenty years.......bloody hell.....!!
And your memoirs are a mighty fine idea, too.

I look forward to the reading of the complete work over the tannoy at Falmer.
