One Step Beyond
You're not a true fan until you have read it , twice.
Surely you're not a true fan if you can't say "I was there" while you are reading it?!

"Dad.. what did you do during The Albion Troubles ?"

"Read the book son, but those were dark times, and its time we all moved on and we leave it to history. We fought, we won, job done."
i got it the day it came out - it's a superb read but it brings a tear to the eye remembering those days. Must have dipped into it thousands of times just to read a page or two
I'm waiting for the second edition with the Falmer update.
Assuming it's still going ahead that is!
Has anyway read this book and more to the point is it worth purchasing??
Pulls up a chair. Could be a long night.
It's a dull read. Get 'The Crystal Palace Soccer Annual 1996/97' instead.
Sadly, the poor writers who put in all the work get no financial reward from all the big-money sales on Amazon and eBay etc. And that, I think, is a bloody shame. Steve and Paul, we should have a whip round
.
bollocks, just because I don't live in England anymore does not stop me being a true fan of The Albion. No, I wasn't there when all that shit went down but watched it from afar in quiet despair. I did manage to visit the Goldstone demolition site on a brief visit back to blighty but that's as far as I got. There are many different ways to be a true fan, the main test IMHO is that you picked a team when you were a nipper (for whatever reason) and then stuck with them through thick and (in The Albion's case the thinest of) thin. I have done this, ergo I am Albion.Surely you're not a true fan if you can't say "I was there" while you are reading it?!
available to rent from any Library (you might have to wait)
