We did Barcelona in early October a few years ago, very cool place and shed loads for the kids......... good zoo, top aquarium, wicked fun fair up by the Olympic diving pool, the stadium(s) to tour if thats your bag. Loads of top bars and restaurants, safe, warm and not too expensive.

PS The harbourside entertainments area is great in the evening, rooftop floodlit crazy golf, huge sega games centre.
