If we are in a position to pay £1m for a player things have moved on considerably

the club is going places thats why we spent that much to get a decent player. and he is a good player so gus must of seen something good in him. and i feel we will be spending more to get a couple more players

Watford fans not too fussed over his departure from what I read saying Buckley is more miss than hit. Have complete faith Gus will turn him into a star though

Remember Swindon fans saying that about Greer? Look where they ended up LOL.

It wasn't that long ago Brighton fans were saying it about Murray!!

Basically don't read too much into what people say on a internet message board.

Pretty chuffed with this signing to be honest. On his day he can rip apart any championship defence (as he proved on several occasions last season) but its getting him to peform consistently which could cause problems. In Gus we trust though and he has shown he is capable of improving players beyond belief (el abd) so i am sure Buckley will be a great replacement for Bennett.

Sounds a really exciting signing. Even if he is inconsistent, we couldn't have a better manager and coaching staff to get the best out of him. Will also probably benefit him to play on a home pitch that doesn't have a rugby team too. Can't wait to see him, and the others that will hopefully sign, play in the first game at the Amex!

Very spectical about this, 1 million pounds is a frightening amount of money for us. I don't mean to put a negative on this as its great news but I fully expect him to be something special.

Wow. £1m. A new era continues. Hope it still excites us in a few years time.

We've GOT rid of that POTLESS waste of TIME Dick Tight

You must admit, there is an element of truth in this - before we were scrambling around signing trialists and cast offs the week before the season started
