And he didn´t watch on Tuesday night to see how bad we can be!Yeah but we hadn’t just smashed his shitty team 4-2 giving him a first hand experience of how bloody brilliant we are.

Well yeah. If it's what RDZ wants and the player doesn't mind being a stopgap/bit part player, fine. He'll be useful until we get our injured players and Barco back at least. Not judging Gil as a player from what he's shown (or hasn't) for Spurs as he looked promising at Sevilla and hasn't had a chance to get any level of consistency going at Spurs.Short-term cover to the end of the season innit? We don’t have to love him, he just has to do a job.

I'd just like to think a player in that position would be jumping at the chance to prove himself and get some gametime. Entirely possible the comments have been misinterpreted and it is that he wants reassurances he'll play regularly. I'd worry about the mentality of any player that's 'happy' with four league starts in three years.
He's not actually been AT Spurs for most of that period, so that seems a fairly stupid / deliberately misleading stat.Well yeah. Isn't one manager not fancying a player how a fair chunk of transfers happen?Further more....
If all out attack Ange does not fancy him...
how will De Zerbi's relentless equally fast past brain fancy him....
He'd definitely get a game - he's a very good footballer.I like the player... we have so many forward players coming back in the next couple of weeks.
Not convinced he would get a game.
starting to think i would rather see the young lad Baker-Boaitey given a couple of chances until the other guys are fit.
Worked well for young lad Hinshelwood, didn't it.I like the player... we have so many forward players coming back in the next couple of weeks.

Baleba was probably our best player for the 20 mins spell he had on Tuesday. (not saying much admittedly) Surprisingly sharp, strong and making runs from deep.I think Gil is right. And hell, if it increases competition for places as players come back, that’s got to be good. Plus, returning players to action too fast is bound to result in other injuries.
I’m more concerned in Baleba. He’s not getting the game time I thought he would, so he’s not right. Either play him and he sinks or swims, or ditch him. Personally, I think it’s a confidence issue.
That’s a good sign. Time for him to put in a consistent show now I think.Baleba was probably our best player for the 20 mins spell he had on Tuesday. (not saying much admittedly) Surprisingly sharp, strong and making runs from deep.
He might well get a game or some minutes from the bench but he's getting that already at Spurs. He'd definitely get a game - he's a very good footballer.
We don't have enough wide players. Mitoma and Adingra starting every single game almost certainly contributed to them getting injured in the first place. Once they do finally come back, it would be good if we didn't have to make the same mistake.
That's not a given at all.He might well get a game or some minutes from the bench but he's getting that already at Spurs.
What he won't be getting - it seems unlikely given the competition- is being a regular first team starter. THat might explain his (if that is true ) caution about agreeing to the move.
He showed that you can just run through the high press, which no one else had even tried, but some of his passing having created the space was I think sub standard. Still work in progress for me.Baleba was probably our best player for the 20 mins spell he had on Tuesday. (not saying much admittedly) Surprisingly sharp, strong and making runs from deep.
Funnily enough other than unused sub I too was going to suggest Baleba as our notional MotM on TuesdayBaleba was probably our best player for the 20 mins spell he had on Tuesday. (not saying much admittedly) Surprisingly sharp, strong and making runs from deep.
Yep. Gil would get far more minutes here than he will if he stays at Spurs. That's not a given at all.
RDZ's preferred set up, has a right winger playing - March is the first choice, but out long term.
Adingra has been deployed there out of necessity, but is more effective n the left - in Mitoma's position.
There is nobody else suited to the role, so we end up adapting the formation.
Add Gil and we have three players for the two positions required by the preferred formation - meaning they can rotate to keep them fresh, and we'll always have a winger on the bench to unleash against tired defences late in a game - something we've really, really missed.
Baleba's main issue is he struggles to create the space/angle to be a passing option. Pretty key under RDZ.I think Gil is right. And hell, if it increases competition for places as players come back, that’s got to be good. Plus, returning players to action too fast is bound to result in other injuries.

Indeed and his judgment of space while defending when the opposition has the ball has also been found wanting by RDZ in interviews, they have a lot to work on with this lad but he's young, got all the attributes so I'm very hopefulBaleba's main issue is he struggles to create the space/angle to be a passing option. He was supposed to be the pass for the Palace goal at Selhurst but did not create the angle and we all know what happened. Subsequently hooked at HT and RDZ claiming he's not ready.
