No but equally he hasn't come out and said that he has no interest in moving and more to the point the club haven't said he's not for sale (which we could bearing in mind he is under contract for a few years yet.)

Agreed. Although the club have put a £10M price tag on him, which kind of makes it clear to potential purchasers (including Leicester) he's only for sale at a very high price.

Personally I'd like to keep him but anywhere north of £7.5m will be virtually impossible to turn down I reckon. Regardless of the player being in contract we'd be naking a huge profit on him.

Pretty sure it was wants not needs. But carry on with the panic anyway. PANIC!
I admire your sangfroid. I am literally beside myself with anxiety.

Sorry not happy about having both Calde and bruno. I like both of them but we need to be thinking for the future in the position and we need a young right back as both Calde and Bruno are getting too old

In my opinion if we can get a decent price for Ulloa we should let him go and invest the money in a new striker. The last part of last season he was nowhere near the striker he was the previous season. I would not be sorry to see him go.

Amazing. A near 1 in 2 record in a team that scores very few goals, and you wouldn't be sorry to see him go. You would be the first person on the board to start moaning that we shouldn't have let him go when we're three games into the season and have only scored two goals.

I was thinking £8M would do it! I think we're near enough aligned TBH.

Spot on Commander. Although I don't know for sure that Goldstone would moan if we lost Leo.

I am. He'll moan if we lose him, and he'll moan if we don't. Guaranteed.

I know what you mean but I'm a bit concerned Hyppia mentioned needing to talk to Ulloa...
It may be as simple as the fact he may be out if the loop on holiday in Argentina, and not out of contract. Bruno and Calderon are in a negotiation scenario and would have been in the loop.

I couldn't agree more, and though we will be besmirched by the Leo brigade I'm not sure he fits into the 'at last' quick tempo promise. Tika Tika is no longer the way to be successful, a lone striker (why he scores a few) and eternal possession is neither exciting (though pretty) or more importantly productive.
Look where Tony Pulis has taken a bunch of average players with modern methods against Wengers All Star Tika Taka Gunners. Look at the current World Cup where hardly a side with paramount possession has won a game.
Defend systematically and strike quick and fast as Derby did to us. I love the interest Leo is getting and I like him and appreciate the skills he has, but hope we get Mega Bucks for him to put into Sams War Chest.

I think Sami said he would like to keep him for another year before Ulloa wants Premier League football. At aged 27 (peak) I think I would go now if I had the chance! However, no good being peak age and on the bench. Wedge in promotion bonuses ???

If Ulloa goes to Sunderland I will not be surprised in the slightest and he is probably going to bump into Gus at the World Cup at some point. I am not saying it is wrong for them to meet, just highly likely that they will socialise and will talk about things speculatively.

What the club will want is a bidding war for him.

Always said let a player leave if that's what he wants and bring some-one else in who is hungry and proud to play for us
