Dean has shitloads of potential, Ray has the experience at being no 1 or 2. I wouldnt mind, would be cheap, and keep the man responsible for the best ever Albion Tranfers in history at the club.

I thought Dean Wilkins and Charlie Oatway would have been a good stop gap after Christmas until the end of the season...either that or Dennis Wise and Ray Wilkins.

Merging the two and getting Dean and Ray wouldnt be a bad idea.

Wendy Wilkins as manager, umm, not sure about that......when he was interviewed after the Notts County match at Wembley, he had to be reminded that he scored.

Just how tactically aware is he?

So you're in favour of keeping McGhee then???
McGhee isn;t responsible for the best ever transfer in Albion history, neither are Dean or Ray Wilkins.....

Ray Wilkins has experience in taking QPR down from the Premiership.

Being sacked for failing to get a bankrolled Fulham side out of what is now league 1.

He also never set the world alight as number 2 to Vialli or Wise.

No thanks.

I think Ray would handle that side of things and Dean would coach the first team in basics such as general fitness, set pieces you know the stuff Magoo FAILED to do this year.

And be fair we had just lost the play off final!

Fair enough - but two things occur to me

1) Ray Wilkins has never had any real success in a management role

2) Dean has never managed a club before

So one is unproven, and one is untested - a recipe for disaster?

Still, I suppose you wont know for sure unless you try !

Dean produced the players that were sold for the biggest deals in one season in our history. Hes worked wonders with the youth team as manager, which will make up most our squad next season.

Ray Wilkins was coach when Millwall got to the FA cup final and Im sure Chelsea won something with him as Viallis no 2? could be wrong, but hardly what youd describe failure.

I reckon its going to happen.

Yep and as Albion Dan said probably get the best of both worlds that way.

Hiney, you have summed this all up.

To you, to me, to you, to me.....GOAL

Ok Sid fair enough.

As it appears that the general consensus is that MM will soon be gone. Who would you have?

For sake of argument lets say MM decided to resign or was run over by a bus so there is no option of saying keep Magoo.

Just wondering like.

I think that is the point isn't it? Let him continue to work wonders and let someone else take the manager's job.

As long as it is not Mr McGhee!
