Peter Ward at the north-west end, the one where you get to first from Falmer Station, both arms in the air from that Blackpool game in 1978.

At the other end of the ground, Dick Knight, in classic Lenin pose, but with two fingers raised in the air pointing towards Lewes.

That's perfect!

Any ward statue as you walk towards the ground would be immense. And Mullery saluting Lewes.:falmerspi

Dick Knight. Without him there wouldn't BE a Falmer. Or even a Withdean.

Peter Ward, by comparison, and no offence, was just a player. OK, a GREAT player, but in the end, just a player.

Not just a player, a culture, and a legend.

Seems to be both of them.

Personally I think a statue of players is more interesting and fitting. But we should definitely have the Knight stand.

Charlie Webb. Served the club longer than anyone else and scored the goal that effectively crowned us champions of England.

Perhaps the others could be on a walk of fame or something similar.

Got to agree with this.

He was not known as Mr Albion for nothing.
