Broken Ankle!

Poor Roz!

She was on photographic duties at the Dripping Pan this afternoon, with the specific task of taking the Lewes Squad picture at the end of the game, but also some other pics, including action from the game.

Anticipating that most of the excitement would come at the end that the Albion were attacking, shortly after halftime she made her way to the end of the ground furthest from the main terrace.

She almost made it.

Unfortunately, the grassy bank intervened and she took a nasty tumble, ending up sprawled on the ground ... with a broken ankle.

Fortunately, bucket and sponge wizards from both the Albion and Rooks benches were quick on the scene and an ambulance was called.

She's now at the RSCH, where they have pronounced it to be a very nasty break that will need serious surgery - metalwork and stuff.

And Lewes never got their team photograph.

Roz promises to be up and hopping about as soon as she can, but if anyone is looking forward to some interesting pictures from the game, I'm afraid you'll have to wait.

hmmm, first Dave, then Roz.

Hope the old legend about such bad luck coming in threes isn't true. Unless the third person is Andy Johnson :p
