I've had brogues in the past, but never paid more than £50 for a pair.

In fact, save for a fancy pair of cricket boots a few years back, I've never paid more than £50 for anything to put on my feet.

Am I normal or tight?

Does NSC have any brand recommendations?

That is insanely expensive. Russell and Bromley are not value for money. I would recommend looking online at some of the stores in Northampton. I was forced to live there for a while and the only thing that kept me sane was trying on nice shoes.

The Buckingham by Loake look decent, but I prefer the type mentioned in post #3
