Series 3 has been excellent. It really makes it such a shame that series 2 was so poor. The show could easily have run for many series with a different central case each series. Because they chose to drag out the same case in the middle series and knew that series 3 would be the last before filming it has left it as something of a wonderful afterthought rather than a for,at that could have worked across multiple situations,

I shall take a look at those. I see Hinterland is returning soon. I saw the first series in Welsh (with subtitles) and loved it, then they reshot the whole thing in English as it was so popular. It obviously has a lot of Scandi influence but it is carried off rather well.

Just finished S3 albeit in Welsh with subs. Ep 1 gets you back on track, 2 & 3 are fillers whilst the internal grief develops then Ep 4 where it all kicks off...Devil's Bridge and iffy coppers.
Good stuff, although I DO wish they'd stop the staple scene of potiential murderers being interviewed at their workplace and they ALL carry on working. Rude.

I thought line of duty was bloody complicated.....fantastic episode last night....then I just watched broadchurch ....WTF is going on?

I now think its the taxi drivers son, the whole series has been about parents and children and I think the fathers porn set him off down the wrong track and it was probably him that stole Hardy's daughters phone. Ellie's son could be involved as well and he filmed the attack which was the light the woman saw and I still think he might of murdered the first boy and his dad covered for him.
