I don't normally watch this type of shit but was pleasently surprised that at least some talent won something, namely Weller, Elbow, Duffy and the exceptionally good Kings Of Leon, meanwhile Coldplay who are the biggest pile o shit i've seen live since last night won more than they deserved i.e f*** all

Would it not be easier for you to just say Maiden are just not to your taste. Over 80 million albums sold and a career spanning 20+ years. Sold out concerts around the world and since last feb alone 90 gigs in 38 contries. With the obvious exception of U2 will anyone on that show tonight tonight have a comparable career?

The whole show was dire, bland and totally uninspiring from beginning to end. The only highlight was the chubby blonde bloke from Gavin and Stacey. PSB were awful and Brandon Flowers looked a bit embarrassed to be up there, having bigged them up beforehand. I can't understand why anyone would pay to see them live because they don't do anything, Chris Lowe stands behind his keyboard pretending to play the pre-programmed tunes and Neil Tennant moves like the tin man from the Wizard of Oz and his live vocals are dreadful.
