This local coverage today has a little bit of insight into what intel he was gathering, and also claims that the UAE tried to resolve it all through diplomatic channels with the UK, but were ignored and therefore felt they had to take it to court.

Very interesting and backs up what I thought that he is pretty much guilty, bright but lacking in duplicity and pm on sense. I wouldn't be surprised if he drank Martini, wore a T-Shirt with spy written on it in bed and wore Tux to meetings.
