Funny how tastes vary - for me that's an incredibly bland and samey line up. Where's the groove, the soul, the funk, the fun, the danceable music?

I can see why that line up would really appeal to a particular demographic though.

You have never heard Weller's house album then, or his jazz/funk/soul LP, Café Bleu .

Not a bad line up at all, although you are always at the behest of the great British weather. Mind you, if PW won't play what the crowd wants to hear (he usually doesn't) the atmosphere could be like a morgue.

I shall, hopefully, console myself by seeing the Foo's for the second time in 4 months at Edinburgh, supported by Brighton boys Royal Blood.
