Brighton & Hove's VERY OWN Michael Campbell is the current clubhouse leader.

Think I'll have an extra sneaky e/w on him at 33s in running to go with KJ Choi & Vijay Singh!

McGinley still 40/1 - quite surprising. He;s on his own in 2nd place right now, just 2 off the lead. Id be tempted on a 1/4 odds e/w for him to finish in the top 5 (or top 6 if its Paddy Power). That might be worth LUMPING on.

Have been looking at the Betfair odds for the last hour and fwiw think that Choi is a huge price at 8.8 ish. It's only the price about Woods that is keeping him so long, as the Tiger layers can't bear the thought of being stuck with a position that they might not be able to get out of. Woods is brilliant, but surely even he is not a 13-2 chance to beat 20-odd players plus ties over 36 holes from his current position. Should be double that price I reckon, and to have him as second fav is 99pc down to reputation and past achievement, 1pc down to his actual chance.

To back Garcia you have to be sure that his putting will stand up under pressure, and he has - in racing parlance - stuck his head in the air plenty of times in the past. Choi, on the other hand, is well-known for his mental strength, and is a six-time winner on the PGA tour.

Definitely Choi for me getting shots from all bar Garcia. Also think that if Furyk is a 9-1 chance on -2, then Boo Weekley (a winner in America this year) shouldn't be 50-1 from the same position. He'd hardly be the first unknown American to sneak in under the radar after a very solid start in recent years. Hamilton and Curtis were both available at big odds on the Saturday morning (even though I think Hamilton was a joint-leader after two rounds).

Hoping for a double miracle today   - have just backed Tiger Woods each way to win the Open at 25/1 and Lewis Hamilton each way to win the European Grand Prix at 16/1. Stranger things have happened...

Just seen my two players, Vijay Singh & KJ Choi are paired together today... Hopefully it is a partnership made in heaven and they can both inspire each other to nick an each way place!

(Wishful thinking)

:D :jester:

Nightmare for Harrington, twice in the water on 18th.

Bar something really stupid Garcia will win.
