Was anybody on here at the GP on Sunday? if so did you queue (like us) to get into the Silverstone Party? If so do you know what the military jet was that was doing the 'after races' display? it was seriously loud, very low and very impressive.

I bet this won't really be the last GP at Silverstone. Donnington were supposed to be upgrading facilities this year with a £100m redevelopment plan, but that has stalled because of some kind of legal wrangling going on with the holding company over rent arrears there. And there's currently no safety certificate from the MSA for that venue.

Ecclestone is all mouth and no trousers - if Donnington isn't ready, which is looking likely, it'll revert to Silverstone.
