Anyone else watching? Absolute Car crash TV, shouldn't watch but can't draw myself away.

The chap with the owl was appalling.

Another guy wanting to eat an apple and break world record - that is not a talent.

Crap show , watched it a few times but lost interest . I was switching channels the other night and came across it , I heard the main guy whoever he was say that Britain has got talent , I said to the missus yes there are a few talented people out there but not many seem to appear on his show .

Crap tv with screaming childish audience who are told when to scream and stand up . I may be getting old ?

I actually went to one of the auditions this year and was hugely surprised to see that there is actually no prompting for standing ovations or cheers etc. I was genuinely surprised that the audience reactions are completely organic!

Just wait for the biggest crappest campest act to appear on stage and you know that David Walliams will be bouncing up and down on that gold buzzer.

Well, you were absolutely bang on with that.

I caught about 20 minutes of this miserable show last night, and saw for the first time the "act" that Walliams had put through with his Golden Buzzer. Sure enough, it was a talentless gurning oaf who turned in an embarrasingly RANCID performance of Its Raining Men. Oh, but he's GAY, so its absolutely "hilarious". yay, how inclusive and right-on.

Seeing Walliams beating the desk trying deserpately hard to enjoy that performance was pitiful. Everyone knew his choice had just utterly stunk the place out, but all Walliams could do was trot out was some cliche'd glib twattery, shrieking "this show is all about entertainment, and you ARE entertaining". At that point I switched off, but too late - a little part of me had died inside.

Saw it last night. Thought John Clegg was pretty funny, however Darcy Oake was brilliant (albeit not even British).

Only thing I dislike is that 'already famous' people are on there, Darcy Oake is already famous and used to do little skits on Hockey Night in Canada, and is relatively famous in Asia also. The black comedian who got Ant and Decs golden buzzer in the last audition was the Black Militant Guy from Balls of Steel, and one of the singers has already written 'hits' for the likes of One Direction so probably doesn't need the money anyway.
It was pretty obvious how that magician act worked after I watched it back, I thought his audition was better to be honest. The show is just a bit of fun to all those moaning you know what to expect after 10 years so dont watch if you dont like it.

Everything with Ant and Dec in is to be avoided.

It shows the depth of quality in the show that the hilarious impressionist Jon Clegg and the excellent streedance duo Lauren and Terrell both missed out on finals berths.

Did the ventriloquist chap from Seaford get though?

Sam Jones (who incidentally is also a really good magician). Yes he got through the selection bit and he's on tomorrow (Wednesday). He's the son of some very good friends of ours; which means that I have watched a few episodes this year. Jeez. it IS utter shit, and quite exploitative (which I think most people knew anyway). I won't say any more than that. My wife's been filmed for part of his 'back story' section so she's quite excited about tomorrow and hopes to see herself on TV.

That's what has always concerned me. Seems to be they want to take certain acts forwards and make the most of them, whilst others are ruined by the producers. Who fits what category seems quite sporadic. Song choice, set up, performance all seems to be put on these poor people for better or worse.
