They should rename it Britain's Biggest Sob Story.

Interesting that the winner didn't get a standing ovation from the majority of the crowd and judges after his act, when at least four others did.

I am seeting with rage. I thought Andrew Johnston absolutely walked it with a stunning performance. He was in a different orbit to anyone lese. The reason he was so upset at coming 3rd is he knew he was ROBBED. I backed signature on a hunch this morning at 25/1 as I knew they were popular so George Sapson winning it in a fixed and rigged vote cost me £ 300. George Sapson was about
6th in my list which was based on talent

1. Andrew Johnston
2. Escala
3. Faryl
4. Signature
5. Dog
6. George

Actually on reflection I think Nemesis and Stirke were better than George as well . the only ones worse were the Cheeky Monkeys and Andrew Muir.

When they bring him on after a herald of Trumpets and he does his singing in the rain routine as it seems thats the only thing he knows ( he did it 3 times in 2 shows ) surely Prince Charles is going to think, what the f***, is this the best Britain has got to offer after 50000 auditions, Andrew, Faryl and Escala were all qualtiy acts, signature were great fun but I think the reason that George won was

1. the sob story.
2. the poor background
3. i want to do it for Mum blah blah blah
4. all the chavs and pikeys throughout the country voted time and again as they could not relate to the 3 quality acts mentioned

It was the first time I'd seen it last night and I thought that breakdance kid was pretty average. To me it was a toss up between the dog, the Indian lads and the instrument birds.

Its a great shame as they had unearthed some genuinely superb acts and then ruined the whole show as it was based on who had the biggest sob story or who came from the poorest background, the best talent did not win. What was so good about George he just threw his arms and legs around like he was having a fit or had parkinsons disease, I could have done Georges act no worries. If George had come from a middle class background he would not have won and the competition lost all its integrity in the last 2 minutes.

I comparing someone who suffers from fits or Parkinsons disease to how someone dances is f***ing sick line, why don't you crawl back under the little stone you came from. Have some respect, or I would happily teach you some.

So what you are saying is you are stupid enough to bet on something that is decided by a public vote so you come on here and abuse George Sampson. I have watched bits of the series and watched the whole show last night and totally disagree with you. There were a number of fantastic acts including Escala, Faryl, Andrew Johnstone and Signature but George Sampson was up there with them and any of those acts would have deserved to win.

Don't let the fact that you lost money on something cloud your judgement. A number of them had sob stories as you put it. Did you not see Andrew Johnstone talk about being bullied?

I would place a hypothetical bet myself that several ITV executives made a lot of money at the bookies, on the 'surprise' winner of last night's show.

The public's and the bookie's favourites to win - La Scala and Faryl (sp?) - didnt even finish in the top 3.

- the bookies dont normally get these things wrong.

The people who run ITV seem to have taken nothing on board from the phone in scandals vote of the last few years,.

Looking on the bright side re. La scala - if they'd won they'd have concentrated on their music. This way they'll be half naked in FHM within 3 weeks

if i was faryl, andrew johnston or them girls who played the instruments i'd be f***ing GUTTED finishing behind them two indians and that george kiddy. blatantly a fix as the producers wouldn't want a singer to win it. if he is the most talented there, i think i may apply for next years show

The vote was rigged and as someone said ITV executives probably made a lot of money. Faryl was Evens, Escala 11/10 and Sampson about 16/1 I think. Anyway the best talent did not win and thats the end of it..
