I think we would easily have sold 40,000 just because it is the new Wembley and far closer than Cardiff, for us if not Rovers.

The fact that the game is being played at New Wembley probably accounts for 10,000 of those fans.

I refuse to accept that Bristol Rovers are a bigger club than us :lolol:

I pray they win. Their stadium manager is a friend of mine, and I am on the promise of hospitality next time we play there!

All Wembley crowds are going to be massive over the next year or so. Even Exeter managed to shift 29,000 for what was a non-league game last weekend.

A guy I work with is going on Saturday and is in the Shrewsbury end. To be fair, he supports Palace, so it's the best hope he's got of getting to Wembley!!

I used to live opposite the Rovers ground, I can't say they had a huge following. People clearly want a day out at Wembley and personally I'd rather go to a playoff final than see that pile of sh*te they called an FA Cup final.

and you'd be more likely to get a ticket for the play-offs aswell.

Aren't they playing at Cheltenham next year?

That's the plan.

However, from what I've read/heard, it is dependant on Bristol City Council giving them permission to redevelop the Memorial Ground and the hearing isn't for quite a while.

I think they're planning to move out by the end of December if BCC play ball, so if we're away to them (IF they win on Satuday) before January, then it'll be in Bristol.
