Have you heard any more from Supporter Services about the points decision?

Whatever the decision it needs to be resolved before Tuesday morning when Villa away tickets. Go on sale. There could be 83 pages on if I had been awarded x points for Rovers I would have been able to get tickets either earlier or not missed out.

I would email the club just in case you don't get done for harvesting ...

I will see what happens, at the moment its looks like no points are being issued. The steward said they were not scanning tickets, hopefully CCTV or photos of the game will show me at the gate and in my seat. It is a pain, normally grounds keep someone on the turnstiles.

Pretty sure I scanned my ticket on the way in

We had to put the ticket into a bar code reader, so it was scanned.
I'm sure somebody said it took 5 days last season for away points to be allocated to check the ticket had been used (FA cup game?), therefore I'm not expecting to see anything until tomorrow.

I definitely scanned my ticket.
Had a seating ticket, spoke to a steward and he let me stand on the terrace.
I notice that in the info for the Villa cup game it states that points will be allocated on confirmation of attending the game.

Maybe we should be able to exchange our ticket stubs for one of those wash bags nobody wanted or something?

I agree. I’ve had my Manchester City points added this morning, but still no sign of the elusive Bristol Rovers points.

That would be a strong indication that there will be no points issue for Bristol Rovers, in line with the (non-)communication pre-match.

A bit of a kick in the balls for those that made the effort.

Not so much for the regulars, but certainly those that were taking the opportunity to gain a few extra points to try and move further up the pecking order

A massive kick in the balls! Admittedly tickets were cheap and some coach travel was discounted, but most of us still had to take time of work etc. with the usual added costs of away games.

Additional points are then awarded as follows:
Away League Matches: 5/10/15* Home & Away Cup Matches: 5/10/15*
*Points awarded will vary depending on the opposition, date and demand level for the match between 5, 10 and 15.

This extract does not suggest that ZERO points is an option for an Away Cup Match. A lot of people, including me, will be a bit miffed if he has rewritten the rules for this one fixture only.

That was my point, yes.

There is no indication that loyalty points for the attendance of a game is discretionary.

Based on the club's own published document, the only potential wiggle room I could see if that "Cup match" is (retrospectively) decided to mean FA Cup.

Or do the club now not regard the League Cup as a first team fixture, given the stance (to date of Rovers points) and that the Southampton League Cup game last year was not included in the end of season email on games attended.
