Not exactly a brilliant result, but I would have taken a point before Kick-off.

all the talk from the club leading to the match was about not conceding a goal so the result was always likely. lots of goal attempts but mostly from distance. maybe the swansea and bournemouth scorelines today put recent performances into perspective though?

The game forster is injured for... he would have lapped up half of those chances!

Still, I'm much happier this season 10 games in than I was last season ;)

Wherever The Mood Takes Me
Today was my first gane since the start of the season and I must say I was alarmed by our lack of creativity. Put that along with quite possibly the worst goalkeeper we have had in a long time I think we are very fortunate to be where we are in the league.

Today, despite having very little to do Kuipers showed what an awful keeper he is, a simple catch which he inexplicably fumbled and absolutly awful kicking means that no matter how many we score with this clown in goal we havent got an earthly.

Come on Wendy, if you want to be taken seriously get a decent keeper in.

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
It was a relatively poor decision not to haul Revell off, but almost paid dividends when he had two good efforts saved. The only thing that concerns me is that we did not have a forward to bring on to change the game. Maybe it would have been a better idea to bring on Martot and push Savage up with Robinson? Elder, to me, is too raw at the moment.

This was probably the days easiest score to predict, Bristol Rovers are draw specialists and we have been playing it defensively for the past few games. Still its a good point which will come in usefull at the end of the season.

Perhaps we'll see a more attack minded team from now on as the defense is obviously sorted with three shutouts in a row....who knows!
