Don't wait for me!
Blimey didn't spot that they'd been relegated.
Me neither!

So on this basis, given that the Derby fans invaded the pitch after the home leg of the play-off semi final as a points deduction is not possible they must be thrown out of the play-offs and the Albion reinstated. As we beat QPR on aggregate in the league it means that we take the place of QPR in the PL, with QPR remaining in the Championship.
This has as much chance as the Bristol Rovers case of succeeding, in fact probably more as the same season.
The official statement on the Rovers website makes for quite pathetic reading, frankly (especially for fans of erroneous apostrophes):
It has come to the attention of Bristol Rovers FC that Wycombe Wanderers FC appear to have breached FA rules on Third Party Ownership.
It’s current Chairman, in giving evidence at a recent FA Disciplinary Hearing, appears to have admitted a serious breach in respect of the player, Matt Phillips (and possibly other players).
The result of this led to Wycombe wrongfully obtaining a competitive advantage over Bristol Rovers.
Without this, Wycombe rather than Bristol Rovers could have been relegated.
Bristol Rovers were relegated merely on goal difference, and as the breach, if proven, would have almost certainly led to a points deduction, Bristol Rovers have instructed specialist sports lawyers together with Nick De Marco, a leading sports barrister, to draft and send a complaint to both The Football League and The Football Association.

I disagree and think that this is absolutely cut and dried.
WELL SPOTTED...WE HAVE JUST BEEN PROMOTED!!!
Can someone find out when the open top bus parade will take place... Can't wait!
Town Hall Friday.
Bob Booker on the microphone.
Are they the biggest club to have been relegated to the Conference since automatic promotion/relegation was introduced?
I can only think of Luton as competition for this one. Luton have played at the top level more than Rovers have (I assume), but Rovers have always been relatively well supported, part & parcel of playing in a large city like Bristol.
Trying to think of other clubs who've gone down. Grimsby, Wrexham, Scarborough, Lincoln, Colchester, Torquay, Chester, Darlington, Aldershot, Hereford. None of them are bigger than Rovers. They're going to be there to be shot at when it comes to opponents like Eastleigh.
Yep, Luton are the biggest but Bristol Rovers are not far behind. When you think of the strikers (in particular) they've had over the past 15 years, they strike me as a shining example of how not to run a football club. Are they the biggest club to have been relegated to the Conference since automatic promotion/relegation was introduced?

And Nathan Ellington!Jamie Cureton, Barry Hayles, Jason Roberts, Marcus Stewart, Rickie Lambert, Bobby Zamora. Only Rochdale (Le Fondre, Murray, Lambert) can even get close to that record in lower league terms, surely?
And Nathan Ellington!
