Wind yer necks in this is just a view that I have I am not saying they should or shouldnt do it but I cannot understand the need and the logic behind doing it.


Was obvious to me - in the pre-match warm-up the surface was virtually bone dry (so the ball was dry too). By half-time night had fallen and the surface had a very heavy dew on it (making the ball wet and slippery). FDM was doing a simple clean-catch routine but with a wet ball.

If only you could THINK about why people do something a bit harder before posting you might find your fellow NSCers a little more supportive,

As for the groundsman Vs FDM & Godden? - best half-time entertainment I've seen in many a year. "Get out the fecking way!"
