You just know that the barcode fraudsters are going to win tomorrow night and as our lot seem to have been on the piss (look at Norwich away), it all points to a draw on Saturday and the Championship trophy being put back in its box.

I hope I'm wrong.

Stadium is going to be full of JCL Premiership wannabe fans too. I think they should only have let in people with Gillingham purchase history to get a proper atmosphere going with genuine fans.

Even if that happens it doesn't make it CRAP

Still a great season and we should celebrate that

I'm hopeful that either Newcastle lose and/or we beat Bristol City but, if it doesn't happen, so what? The season has already far exceeded our expectations - so we should celebrate either way.

Aye, all those with dog shit still on their shoes! Ah, happy days that no JCL would ever understand.

Cardiff beat already promoted Newcastle on Friday ( same as we lost to Norwich after clinching promotion)
Our players, along with our fans, went out on the piss. Newcastle fans clapped a little and went home, so I doubt the players celebrated.

I think what the OP is trying to tell us is that he hasn't been able to procure a ticket for Saturday thus making it 'CRAP'.

Weird thread. I'm more concerned about it being the other way around- the Championship being sorted before we've even kicked off. If Newcastle win tomorrow night we just have to beat a virtually safe lower Championship side to win the title. We'll do it, of course we will! I'd much rather that happens and we win the title at home.

Still not overly fussed with the title. Would be nice but not the end of the world if we do mess it up as we're still Premier League!

Not the end of the world indeed BUT the opportunity for our squad to win a Championship medal, and for the club to be able to put a replica Championship Trophy in the museum, is not something which repeats itself again and again.

Accordingly, I truly hope that they, and the entire AMEX attendance on Saturday, other than a few Bristolians, are seriously up for it !

Brighton factually.....
I think your right, I mean whats the point we are already up....

Don't know why we are getting so excited about Saturday to be honest....

I think I will give my two tickets away, no in fact I will just frame them and put them in the downstairs crapper complete with stubs, so if guests come round and ask I can say I am such a super fan I don't need to go....

Now stick that in your pipe JCL and get outta my crapper...

This thread is of course correct. I am a complete fool to come down to Brighton from Liverpool for the Bristol City game and for getting a ticket to Villa Park. Our players and manager don't care about the title and don't give two hoots for the fans. They have just been drunk since Wigan. Sack the board...

The joys of following a team.

Brighton fans 'I can still see us blowing the title'
Bristol City fans 'please please do not let us get totally spanked. 1-0, heck even 2-0, just take it and enjoy yourself.'
