I am shocked.

I have phoned Bristol City FC and offered to donate a kidney/liver/lung/gonad to the club's annual tractor pull and prize dinner, look.

They are a magnificent team, and the supporters really an optimistic and happy go lucky sort of a bunch who cheer on the lads without ever a note of dismay or criticism.

Ashton Gate with its 85,000 capacity is full to the rafters every saturday and they regularly swell attendances at away grounds by taking upwards of 15-20,000 well mannered and witty travelling red robins in their pursuit of who knows what.

Here is a team that truly belongs in the premiership.

A massive sleeping giant of the provinces with the potential to be bigger than Man Utd.

I, as an ALBION supporter truly regret any offence caused by this thread and would ask you to join with me in a moment of silent contemplation as we contemplate the early demise of yet another season of 'great promise' for this proud team who only a few years ago lest we forget were champions of all Europe.
