No chance, hence the transfer deadline.

Way out west
And Henrik Larsson has just finished with Celtic, would look good on the bench if Little Leon or Lumo need a rest...

Bristol fan says he can play because he was signed as a free agent.

He won't play though, he's only 18 and to throw him into a game like that would be suicidal!

He's definately one for the future, he was picked up at the premiership exit trials and scored 7 goals in two reserve games!

Could be handy whichever division we end up in.

he cannot play surely. think they see it as a boost for the club even if he cannot play.

Let him play, I say!

A striker with NO IDEA how Bristol City play and a Bristol City team with NO IDEA how he does his job.

Excellent news.

Unfortunately, I can't see it happening.

Surely he can't play. Perhaps you're thinking of the transfer window, instead of the deadline?

The window, which only applies to Premiership clubs, allows you to sign Premiership players (or Prem clubs to sign other players) if they are without a contract ot without a club, even if it's outside the window.

The transfer deadline, however, applies to all clubs, and means no team can play someone they have signed after that date. It's to stop clubs signing a superstar on loan just to ensure they stay up, or win promotion, or win the cup etc.

BC's website might say it's a boost, but they're probably talking in psychological terms rather than in terms of a player who will help them out on Sunday.

I hope.

The fa rules state only players signed in the transfer period can play in the games any player signed is not able to play until the season has ended

class or not he wont be at cardiff on the pitch anyway
