He would compliment CMS perfectly with his knowledge and his technical ability. Not only that, he knows where the goal is more than most. That is the sort of player we need right now, a Dave Kitson, Peter Crouch sort of player. A big createful upfront man who knows where the goal is but can bring other players into the game.

I'm one of these people who believe In never have back. Let's just savor the time he was with us and move on. :albion2:

LOL - If we cannot afford Dean Marney, how are we supposed to afford Zamora's wage demands. U gotta love these threads.

I can see him partnering CMS well.
I can see him partner Drogba well.

But this is definitely a case of 3 into 2 don't go.

Just because Gus wasn't prepared to pay x for Marney doesn't mean he won't pay xy & z for A.N. Other.

I wouldn't rule it out as a) something that could happen and b) something that would improve squad

However I think it is heavily dependant on money and Bobby no longer giving a shit about it!!!!

BZ is only 31 and has a a couple of years left on big money before he would consider dropping to the Championship and if QPR were relegated he would still be on their Premier wages so highly unlikely I would think.

Not that old chestnut again.

This.

Even if they couldnt actually afford to pay for a certain player, they're not going to tell you!

I would love to see Bobby back playing for the Albion, BUT I can't see it happening purely because of the money side of things

So we would spend a lot of money on Bobby Z just so that he could keep going up to CMS and saying things like "nice hair Craig", "good effort Craig, bad luck", "Craig, I think you are an example to us all being last off the pitch at the end and clapping the fans" or hopefully, "brilliant hat trick Craig". Or did you mean complement?

Either way, I tend to agree but something inside says "never go back".
