I always love a good "pensioner-scaring teenage thugs get fellated by supermodels - at taxpayers' expense!!" story

And as sure as eggs is eggs, you can now almost hear him bragging to his mates he has been branded "Brightons Worst Resident"

Or send him to Afghanistan and let him ride his BMX around the taliban shouting that he wants to have sex with their mums.

I'm not normally all liberal and hippy type but some of you worry me. Violence does not solve violence. This kid has obviously got severe psychological, behavioural problems. And it worries me that the so called behavioural experts gave up on him.

You could always take him in?

I agree. For all his many faults, he's still a kid - and his problems should have been tackled long before now.

I'm more taken aback by where he lives. I spent the first eight years of my life in Gladstone Place and it was a quiet little cul-de-sac then. It's one of the last places that I can imagine "Brighton's worst resident" living.

So you don't think having an adolescent boy bum raped is good way to curb his troublemaking tendancies? How odd.

why is it so hard for some people to accept that therapy and a soft touch do not always work. It obviously hasn't on this lad. They have tried that and guess what? He didn't want it so why should they try again. Just keep him out of everyoness way. He wants to act antisocially then remove him from society. He obviously doesn't like it does he.

That, is an absolutely brilliant idea....! Hard as I look, I cannot see a flaw in this suggestion.

I think he needs some much needed love and attention. He is obviously a misunderstood little boy.
Send him to prison , even though he is only 14. Put him in a cell with Bazza the nonce , he'll sort him out.

Funnily enough the opposite with me. I'm not normally the eye for an eye type but a few good kickings from his victims wouldn't perturb me too much.

I wasn't being serious. This little shite is making peoples lives a misery. Get him out of society until he has dealt with his issues and straightens himself out.

from many years of working with young people offering support and trying to create clear and consistent boundaries is the biggest part of succeeding but sometimes real life consequences are not only unavoidable but desirable.
One of my biggest successes was with a lad who did some time and found out it wasnt all fun - he hasnt been back inside since. A lad who always carried a knife got shot - he's been more careful since - has chosen not to carry and keeps away from the crowd he was with then. It is about balance and sometimes doing it the PC way is right and sometimes it isnt. Sometimes standing back and not preventing bad stuff from happening really is the best thing to do for everyone
