I see Jelena Cankovic was signed this summer.
She is one of very few players in women's football who has actually singlehandedly had me tune into games. Real artist and the standout player in a team that was decent CL level.

You signed Bruna Vilamala on loan. Talented player but very unlucky with injuries. Please take good care of her.
Barca must have been delighted about how we turned Ansu Fati into the new Andros Townsend.

I don't think his hairline receded too dramatically. To be fair, we sent Fati back to Barcelona and the injury he's now out with was on them rather than us! The poor boy is made of glass, and not particularly strong glass either.

Just back from the Fan Forum, which you can watch back on YouTube if you're interested.

Highlights:
  • new manager Dario comes across well, and seems quite excited about the new season.
  • season tickets are in the post, and if you don't get in next couple of days contact supporter services
  • no news on new stadium yet, but conversations 'are happening daily' and aim is still to have team back in Brighton & Hove area
  • there may be announcements about games at the Amex in the next few days
  • and they are still active in transfer market which closes on Friday

Quite excited for the new season really. I know it's been a similar story for the last couple of years but recruitment generally looks good, and the new coach quite interesting. As long as they can cope without Terland it should be a fun year.

I watched on YouTube and thought it went well. I hope the manager does well - he certainly sounded like a good fit for Brighton. JC handled it all brilliantly as usual - he really is a very good broadcaster.

I was a little surprised that there wasn’t anything about it td on the club website in way of further promotion. I chose to listen to it while watching the Ireland game mostly - Evan cam on as sub for the last 25 mins or so but still has a long way to go in terms of sharpness(unsurprisingly)

Thank you for the summary, really appreciated! Not surprised about the stadium, will be very early days and they’ll have cards close to the chest until they’re ready to submit plans I suspect

Glad Dario game across well. Do feel for Harris, thought he did well last season and probably earned a full time shot. Main thing is getting managerial situation settled for a bit finally

And there was ......
2 games at the Amex, firstly on saturday october 19th Manchester united 12.30ko secondly on saturday november 16th West Ham 12.30ko

The first is a good alternative for those unable to make Newcastle away (will be finished in time to listen to radio sussex either at amex or on way home)
The second is on mens international break.

Her style reminds me a lot of Robinson.

Very exciting
She's a finished product, and was seen as one of the best at Lyon. Robinson was very much about pace for me. Seeing Terland go was hard, but not so much so with Robinson.

Just bought 46 group tickets for the game. I should've thought to put our girls team in a different block from us adults. 😱

Did we sign Nikita Parris before the deadline last night?
Deadline at 11pm tonight.

But in the meantime...

"Brighton have signed Arsenal youngster Michelle Agyemang on a season-long loan on the Women's Super League's transfer deadline day.

The 18-year-old trains regularly with Arsenal's first team and was included in their squad for the first round of Women's Champions League qualifying.

Agyemang, a forward for England's youth teams, is considered to be one of Arsenal's most talented academy players but is in search of regular game time.

Brighton have been ambitious this summer and have already signed England international Fran Kirby.

They are also targeting Manchester United forward Nikita Parris on deadline day but would need to pay a fee to bring her in."
