Stat I don't like.. My last 3 away games attended. Rotherham lost, Newcastle lost, Sheff Weds won. So if we only lost 3 from last 30 and I was at 2 of them.

Just 3 defeats in 30 Championship away games! Must be a load of all time records being broken here.

Any ideas?

That is bloomin amazing actually

But when one compares miles travelled, our support is far more impressive. Why snipe at our fans? I liked you better on the Seaford/Rye thread. 
I liked him better in the Brighton Mars trip thread.

Here's my favourite stat (sorry, it's a look at me post) - I hold the record for the seeing the most Brighton wins before ever seeing us not win (probably).

Our fans are better than Barnsley's fans because half of them live in the sea.

Why has nobody asked the obvious question.

Of the 27 unbeaten games, what's the breakdown of draws v wins?

Because everyone else in this thread is more of a superfan than you and, as such, has memorised every result from the last 10 seasons, taking away the need to ask, obviously.

Honestly, JCL's everywhere these days...

It's nice to meet someone as grumpy as myself first thing in the morning.
Get yourself over to the Paul Watson thread and start your day with a proper

Having a toddler jumping on my head since 5ish tends to encourage a general disdain for, well, everything!

Happily, I'm almost always certain my tongue in cheek swipes are taken as such (though obviously you're still a JCL).

Off to the other thread I go!

1) Barnsley in good form
2) More Barnsley fans in London/SE then Seagulls in Yorkshire
3) Arguably Brighton is a more inviting destination then Barnsley

3) Almost anywhere in the Universe is more inviting than Barnsley.

Same but replace 'toddler' with 'soon to find herself in a burlap sack cat'.

1 So we will only travel when the team is doing well? Fickle
2 Not sure that is right.
3 According to some on here everywhere is inferior to Brighton so why go anywhere?

With respect, points 1 and 3 do not make sense. I also think it's fair to assume that away attendances at the Amex tend to be swollen from 'ex -pat' northerners living in London.
Our away support has improved in the time since I first started watching us, when we would barely manage a couple of hundred for any run of the mill game in the north. Inadvertently, the Gillingham years bolstered the away numbers, and with a modicum of success we've grown further. I love away games and I can't wait for my next one, Bonfire night in Bristol
