Not saying he's going to leave or not, but he's contracted here until 2026! There's hardly any urgency for him to sign a new deal, is there? I get why the club wants him to – and I also get why he hasn't jumped at the chance. All the while RDZ does not commit to a new deal there will be speculation from the media. It’s not even remotely close to a conspiracy theory.
The one man that can shut all the speculation down isn’t choosing to do it.
The cryptic I need motivation need to talk to Tony etc really isn’t helping.
Let's face it, no-one really knows what goes on between RDZ, TB, PB and anyone else in the inner circle. But the media love to spin RDZ's words whichever way they choose, for the benefit of endless wittering on the wireless and pages and pages of rumours. Add in his honesty and the odd language barrier issue and it's like shooting fish in a barrel.
I saw Poyet was on SSN the other day talking about the Chelsea v Spuds game – I'm half surprised no-one has chucked HIS name back in the mix for a 'SHOCK return' to the Albion.
